It completely depends on an individual's circumstances. If one needs the new car urgently, then of course there is no option but to check out cars other than dzire. But otherwise, Dzire is a great car- worth waiting for.
Commented on shanker_suri's review
The waiting period is high, but it is not a situation created by maruti deliberately. With such overbooking, a waiting period of 6 months had to happen.

Hi Kunal! The mileage improves after initial 1000kms and first service. This is true for any new car. So please don't worry. And between i10 and DZire, it completely depends on your needs. Because one is a small car and one is a sedan.

The space is good in Logan but not the rest of the things like - features, design, service support.

Hi Amol, It is a matter of personal choice. You think ikon is stylish, whereas many people like me, think it is nothing great. Moreover, ikon is an old model. It is not doing well in the market. Time to get over it and move to newer better cars like Dzire.

DZire interiors are definitely better than the plasticky ikon interiors. The seats are quite comfy. Can't say whether they would lose shape at this stage but look and feel is good.

Good review. You are right about the service network. This is where maruti wins. One doesn't have to bother about such thing with Maruti. I am planning to buy Maruti Swift DZire. Good that you brought out points like - rattling noise in doors, central locking problems etc etc. I am now more convince read more...

Hi! Good review. Seems like you bought logan last year, because otherwise you would have tried swift DZire as well. Dzire would have been an answer to your need for better interiors and better service support.

Oh please don't call logan value for money. It is a completely basic car with hardly any features. You get a lot more for less in Swift DZire. That's value for money.

Right Just prodigy. I have also heard that logan is fast turning into a taxi car. It will soon replace indica and indigo as India's official cab.

I also test drove DZire. Neither did I find the steering iffy, nor the ride bumpy. In fact the ride was quite smooth…no rattles. And the iffy steering, I guess has to do with the driving style.

Well maruti is promising 15km/lit for petrol variant and 20km/lit for diesel variant. Rest will be confirmed only when it will be actually on roads.

I think it’s a great car. My brother went for the test drive, he is usually very stingy when it comes to giving his compliments, but for this car he was going on and on about it. So I am sure it must be a great one to drive as well.

You are right carwar. DZire is a winner in aspects. I was really surprised to hear the price. I was expecting it to be a lakh higher.

Hi. The genuine images and videos are available at http://marutidzire.com. I've seen the site and that has changed my thought about this car.
Yes I also heard that they have not increased wheelbase but according to a friend of mine who works in maruti engineering, they have worked on rear seat angles for increased space and comfort.
Yes the video was there on you tube. The latest information is that the Swift Dzire will be launched on 26th march. The price is expected to be between 6 and 7 lacs. And this one is for Jagdish specifically, it is an absolutely great looking car. Seems like you haven't seen the video. Check out S read more...
