Bad Samsung Service negates everything

Market is flooded with Samsung products be it LED TV/Mobiles/Refrigerator. When a person buys a product from a reputed manufacturer he expects that he will be provided a quality product backed by an experienced service team.


Electronic equipments are bound to malfunction sometime or the other. This is where Samsung shows its true colours. My Samsung LCD TV(out of warranty) started to give problems one and a half month back and this is what happenned:




  1. Service engineer from "Kaiser Electronics" visits my place after eight days of lodging complaint and advises change of power unit.




  2. A different engineer visits my place three days later to replace the power unit and while changing damages the table stand of my LCD TV and leaves it lying on the bed face down because he couldnt fix it even after 2 hours. Said someone will visit to fix the problem.




  3. Since no one visited my place despite repeated reminders I asked Samsung centre to help and escalate the service request.




  4. No response from either the samsung executives or service centre. Kept saying someone will visit soon. That never happenned.




  5. I requested Samsung to change the service centre but they said its not possible. They want the customer to continue facing harassment.




  6. Finally, fed up and frustrated I called a local guy and he repaired my TV and the additional damage in a single visit!




  7. I still wanted to take the issue of the service centre damaging my TV to its conclusion but Samsung Help Centre is not ready to fix any responsibility and is conveniently doging the issue.




  8. It has been one and a half months and Samsung is still investigating and and is not willing to take any action against the service centre - "Kaiser Electronics". As per repeated fruitless discussions with Mr Surya Prakash, from Samsung Head Office at NOIDA, they were not ready to disclose what action was planned to be taken by them against the service centre implying that they have no policy or rather no intention for the same.






Samusung has lost its credibility.


Hence, I would request prospective customers to think twice before investing in Samsung products. All may be okay in the warranty period. But once the warranty period expires, the product is bound to develop some snag and you will be left at the mercy of untrained technicians from Samsung.


Samsung has started compromising on quality and customer satisfaction.


If you already are facing issues with Samsung Service, call a local guy instead. They will be more respectable and prompt in addressing your complaints.
