I was approached by some marketing executive promoting SC Manhattan Credit Card, which says Buy 1 Get 1 movie ticket at INOX. Tempted by this, I enrolled for Manhattan card. There were other bundled offers like 5% cash back at grocery stores, for which I was more tempted.
I applied for card, and same day I came to know that SC is the worst card in India. I tried to call call center to cancel the card, and they told that it will be cancelled. I again sent a mail after few days to cancel the card, same day I received sms that my card is dispatched.
Till now have could not avail any offer in movie tickets neither in any department stores. The Call center doesn’t have any list as in which stores the offer is valid, they will tell some MC codes, which we need to check every time when we purchase(practically not possible), so this offer is useless.
Customer care number doesn’t work, always will tell to call after 2 hrs. I did not receive any bills/statement, and we need to chase them for knowing the OS. mails, they will send automated reply that they will revert to queries within 10 days.
Will not get any support from branches if u want to know about CC. They will bluntly tell to call the call center. If u tell them call center is busy, they will themselves tell to keep trying to call call center. Credit period I got hardly 7 days. Whats the use of that?
