I also purchased a Prestige induction cooker (PIC 3) last week and paid extra for this brand. We have every right to ask for proper complaint resolution if things go wrong.

This reminds me of an incident happened in Artemis, they incorrectly diagnosed my wife and suggested surgery. By God's grace Artemis was not on the insurer panel and we went to Paras. There the doctor got the ultrasound done and we were free to move out with hardly Rs 50 medicines :o)

Gateway's after sales/support is provided by Acer which as per your experience is really bad. I bought NV55C model from Croma 3 months back which is functioning satisfactorily till now. Really doubt Acer's service record if it's needed in future. May be this is the reason people buy Dell.

Online shopping runs purely on the grt prices and the grt customer service combination. That's why Amazon such a big success. This fact is completely missed by sites like Home Shop 18. If they would have spent few hundreds instead of arguing with you, they would have earned thousands more in future read more...

After reading, I could not find a reason of you being unhappy. It's a common practice by doctors to call patient at their home instead of treating them in hospitals so that they can make more money. This doctor actually followed right practice.

They have stopped taking tips & instead added 4% service tax. Went there last week & enjoyed a lot. If you can eat a lot, this is the right place.
