I guess nothing. . This is more a list of hobbies than interests: Books, first. I am trying to get into reading some modern stuff, and those classics, throw in some thrillers and that completes the list. Music. Indian film music, Tamil first, Telugu next. Ilayaraja and Rahman and R P P in that order. Movies. Tami, telugu, english, in that order. I think I should say that I love movies, maybe as much as movies and books. I guess the best director I like is Mani Ratnam.

MM Kreem is really not a new composer, as your review seemed to suggest. He is a very experienced music director, having scored music for many Telugu films under the name MM Keeravani. It is just that he doesn't compose that frequently in Hindi.

Good, interesting review. I feel that if Teja had separate scriptwriters instead of trying to generate stories himself, he would have done much better. He has decently good narration capabilities.

Nice to see more Telugu reviews here ... I too think it is a typical Teja film. But going by trade reports, the formula doesnt seem to work so much now.
Really nice to see telugu reviews coming up here ... i like this album a lot too, in the same routine-yet-rich sense. Keep going ...

I felt something similar when I saw it. Esp abt Surya's overly sincere character, about it being a Mani film with Mani trademarks, but some distance from his best. And I thought the pacing of the 'fourth quarter' was too fast. Too much story, too little time.

More than the review of the album, I think you could capture the problem with most of ARR albums in recent times. I am as much a fan of ARR as anyone out there, but I think it is just that in all art, there is some undefinable boundary where things gel into something moving, something that appea read more...

I heard his voice is digitally modulated in this song (jana gana mana) .. there definitely seem to be two kinds of voices but one is surely rahman and the other is surely not karthik. dont know ....

... and describing the situation of the songs was a nice touch. And yes, I'd like to corroborate that the theme music of Punnagai Mennon was composed by Rahman (of course, I don't know this as a rock-solid piece of info). And maybe you forgot to include a song from Idhayam. idhayame or poonkudi d read more...
... It's **your** twenty cents. It's definitely not most other people's idea of the movie. If you find your perfect movie, please do post some review of that and we'll sorta get some idea why you couldnt stand pithamagan. You need not have liked P.Magan but there's no reason to think it's bad. I read more...

I certainly didnt expect someone to actually notice the review. And yes, I've noticed that there are too few 'telugu' reviews around here. That's why this review.

you seem to like/approve of almost all songs, still you don't like the album. Sounds like inconsistency. My take is that there are 2 melody-ish numbers in yedo and yedo and santhipoma. Azhagin azhage is a good slow-paced beat song that shows rahman's variety. oru nanban is a normal pleasant numb read more...

a good review. hasnt rahman done ghazals b4? he has done quite some ghazal-kinda things before. anyway, maybe he hasnt, but comments like 'this is not like rahman' surprise me. If you know the complete range of his songs (which means that if you have heard enough tamil and telugu music), there' read more...
