There service has become more erratic after their recent funding. I think they have committed to high figures to PE for which they simply do not have infrastructure. If order can be handled without human interface its fine but not advisable for high value items costing over Rs 20,000.

Go for flipkart only if delivery period is given as 2-3 days which means they have item in stock. When they typically say 6-8 days which means they intend to procure item where there are very high chances of failure. Cancellation process is tedius. My experience after ordering at least more than 20 items worth over 1 lakh in last six months is otherwise. Items which are promised 6-8 business days are invariably delayed.
