@novelty: you my dear, need to re-read the Ramayan before challenging others on it. I think Gurmeet was completely a wrong choice for the role of Ram. GREAT review! Really good job! I agree with you...this Ramayan is a good atempt for a remake, but the magic of the old one is gone from it. I too loved Ramanand Sagar's Uttar Ramayan, but I don't agree that it was completely Ram's fault. I completely agree with Vivek. He basically said what I felt.

Awesome review! It seems as if you felt the Mahabharat as you wrote this review. Great Job! Yes, this book is really good, but if you want to read an even bigger one, read Krishna Dharma's Mahabharata, which is more than 700 pages, and does not exclude one minor detail!
