ULIP policies are aways a NO NO. As from the sum you pay (say Rs100), more than 50% (Rs50) goes into admin charges, taxes, fund management, other hidden charges. Then the balance 50% (Rs50) is investing in stock and even if gives 100% return (Rs50), your portfolio is only Rs100 at the end (0%) gain. read more...
