Hi Lohit, Tata Sky STB is designed not to work at all without the Digicard and on disconnection they take back the digicard. I just sent you an email regarding your STB.

Supercat, just wanted to say that someone who had a similar experience with Tata Sky mentioned on my blog that if you pester their customer support enough, they will install a new dish. Good question. I got the complete amount back because I canceled it before activation. They engineer who came for installation never activated the connection because I refused to sign the contract. When the issue wasn't resolved in 2-3 days I went for a refund.

Desaiamol, I have only recounted my experience. I haven't subscribed to Dish, I haven't read their contract and I know very little about them. So how can I review Dish or compare the two services? If you read carefully, I did mention at some places that Dish TV is no better. Besides, this i read more...
