I agree with your suggestions. U have pput it in a pretty lucid way.
Choice can be of two types..either you go with the trend, which can be found by magazines, movies etc etc, or follow traditional approach of using tie that matches colours of the trouser and is in sync with the shirts colour. dont take horizontal stripes if you are short in height. Thanks
