Three days later i get a call from ACT promising to look into the issue. The next day i got a call and their executive promised to move the junction box ( this was around 15 July ) it is 26th July and im yet to hear from them.

I totally agree with you about the Chennai Service support office.I begin to doubt if they ever work at all ...! I was as impressed as you and i would have continued to be amazed if it had not frozen .... it is a very common issue with Kindle and you are not far from experiencing this problem. Richa.. it was an interesting read. I agree reading a paperback with the smell of a new book is indeed a great feeling but e books have a lot of convenience. @ Darlene...it is a gr8 device considering that it is as good as reading a book feeling. In a tablet the lighting is from behind which makes the screen glow and hurts the eye after a while but in the e reader there is no light and Kindle paperwhite has lighting from the sides ......u should be lucky read more...

@Faisal, they never spoke or discussed about discounted replacement .....i have in fact three kindles, keyboard wifi, kindle 3G and the last one i bought was the kindle paperwhite, the other two still work.

These guys are all thick skinned ..im suffering with these clowns for the last 7 years..nd live on AMC's ..they only sell u a crazy packet of powder everytime they visit you and screw u up for rs 500 ...that take care of their service calls inspite of the AMN's.....if u want to get ripped then try I read more...
