I think you are generalising a whole lot here. I try and make a Goa trip every december. And all except one trip have been great. For the most part, the service is great (though slow). Interesting review Sudarshan. I just got back from checking out a couple of 1.6nxt ikons. They are 2002 makes and the dealer is asking 1.5 lacs for it. He said the spares are very cheap, which i found it hard to believe. But after reading your review, i might consider giving ford cars a wide berth.

Thanks for the review vijayanth. If only you had reviewed them all and given your verdict. :-) Am looking to buy one, but DVD players are almost a non-entity and even the sales people know little about it other than the obvious. So yes, Mitashi 911 goes into my shop cart now.

Dont see how u have problems with the sound. I have connected it to my Panasonic sound system and it works great. You are right about the features though. Not too great. Picture quality is awesome.

Every book, is just that.. a book. Not to be taken for gospel. This should be understood first before one embarks on stuff like the kind AynRand puts up. one thing.. dont say the RD is available on special request.
