DON is possibly the most hyped film of 2006. And the hype is truly necessary for a film which is this mediocre. Why go for a remake, Mr Farhan Akhtar, unless yoread more...

This movie had great potential, but - sadly - much of it has gone waste. The story was good, so was the setting, and even the casting. But the screenplay has badly let down the effort. I suspect, there was a bit of script-doctoring that went about, probably with or without some salvaging attempt read more...

Nice review. The film is painfully slow. And though the poetry might be top-notch, it hardly makes watching the film easy, especially for those who do not understand the language that well. However, much of the dialogues are actually in English!
Awesome review! I must admit that I am not a fan of jane Austen; I have only read her in school as her books like Pride & Prejudice and Emma constituted mandatory reading. But I saw the film Jane Austen Book Club after hearing about it. And was very impressed by the style, the identifiable petty cri read more...

I made a complete fool of myself watching this movie at a multiplex. This utter bakwaas of a movie is one of the worst films I have seen in the theaters, ever! Kya waste of money & energy on my part!!! My girlfriend had a whale of time (as did the other young females in the auditorium) drooling over read more...
Cool review Mr Sen. You have written after a long while. But you should have written more about the intriguing story. I am yet to see the movie, but will definitely catch it the next time it is aired on TV.

Though your review was good, it was loaded with careless errors (spelling and syntax are both important aspects), hence beware!
The singing-dancing penguins of Happy Feet are really worth watching. Thanks for the Sen-sational review ****** keep writing on more such entertaining movies.

Wish I could see this film which promises to be interesting as per your review. I don't know whether it is ever going to get a mainstream release in Kolkata, normally films like these don't. However, even if it makes it to the VCD/DVD circuit, I'll be eager to catch it.
As the entire nation is going hoo-ha over 'Gandhigiri' as made famous by the movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai, I was lucky to watch this quaint movie that truly makes us remember Gandhi with a lot of warmth. It screams for attention! Thanx Mr Sen for reviewing the film.
I think RDB is one of the best films to be made in Hindi. It is indeed THE BEST FILM of 2006. It has made all of us proud.
I wondered how the name HERBERT could be of a Bengali movie, not that I've watched too many. But your excellent review has me hooked. I will try catching it on DVD. And, needless to mention, I'll look forward to your reviews too*****
