Funny thing is George Orwell never visited Soviet Union in his entire lifetime and whatever he wrote was based on western bourgeoisie propaganda and lies spread by Trotsky and his followers. Perhaps the most concise, to the point, review of a book. Atlas Shrugged is such a mediocre and monotonous read, that even Rand's die hard followers concede that 'It sucks BIG TIME'. I guess, there are two types of people in the world, those who havent read Atlas Shrugged and claim it is a masterpie read more...

I just read your wonderful review on Mithun Chakraborty, who in my opinion is the most charismatic, versatile and talented actor in India. He carries no air about himself, keeps aloof in his own world and does a lot of social work, which I think is worthy of emulation by so-called top bollywood 'sta read more...

Good review of the book. Though, I have not read the book myself, but I guess I have a fair knowldege of the German invasion of USSR (not Russia alone). This is a nice hilarious review on one of the most over-rated, over hyped film buffoon of our times....Ladies and Gentlemen, Emraan 'The Monkey Face' Hashmi. As a serious movie-goer, you have given an impeccable review, that is worth reading atleast more than once and I enjoyed reading your review. Reading your review was a pleasure feast for mind. I think, on this movie blog, there are clearly two groups, one for and the other ones against it. 'Zindagi kuch nahin, dard hain pyass hain' - Krishna, Disco Dancer (1982) Mithun Chakraborty is undoubtely a mass phenomenon. Is this serial based on the 'Vayam Rakshamah' (We Protect) written by Acharya Chatursen Shastri? Vayam Rakshamah is an exciting thriller based on Ramayana, that has been told with Ravan as the central figure. I recommend everyone to read that book. The only problem is, that narration is, though in H read more...

Hollywood wants us to lick everything they dish out. Wait till they make a movie, depicting an Indian personality in poor light under the garb of 'comic book' representation and then I will see how many of you would agree with 'artistic freedom'.

Well, people have always two views about Pulp Fiction. They either HATE IT or LOVE IT!!! There is no 'in between' view. Though, I liked Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs, because that movie made sense, about 6 guys involved in a failed hiest and they try to figure out who the 'rat' is in between them. Thou read more...

Thank you for your comment, Amit. Even before I saw the movie, there were voices for and against this film. I decided to watch it myself and I was disgusted. Hi Pranay Thanks for your comments. I guess, most of the people missed out on the Euro-centric bias and the underlying racial subext of the movie. Anyway, people judge things based on their own perspective, which is formed through what their eyes, ears and and mind percieve. :-)
