Though the review is good, I feel the optimism about Air India's future is a bit hard to digest. As is common with other sarkari enterprises, the rot lies in the attitude and not in aircrafts. I totally agree with the advice in this review, having been at the receiving end of delays on the part of Indian Airlines.Interestingly, I have seen Indian Airlines offering different excuses for delays in the same flight. Sorry for your experience but one cannot blame Spice Jet for sticking to the check-in deadline. So far as the 'accomodating' other airlines are concerned, I have myself seen at Chennai how 135 passengers can be held up in an aircraft for a guy who happened to check-in but forgot to board.
