Hi, As Mr. Javeed said, you can't compare Santro with Alto in performance. But as the ownership concerned, Alto or any Maruti is cheaper than their competitors. Alto has the best mileage in the class and the spare parts are dirt cheap compared to Santro and Spark.

I agree with Hartisan. Yesterday (30-mar-2008) a stereo and 2 speakers with box are stolen from my Alto Lxi (2008 model). Yes.. Really the Alto is the Mileage car. I have an Alto Lxi 2008 model. But the power with AC on is soo poor that it is difficult to drive in city with AC on. Last week I could not drive out from a basement parking lot with 4 persons + AC on. I'm forced to switched off AC and drive.
