Your analogy of the Airlines being a mother is interesting. But what happens if the mother metes out step-motherly treatment to some Centres, which are not in the Trunk Routes? I guess one wouldnt have any choice other than taking a foster mother, if available!!!

Thanks for your comment. I see the point in what you are saying. I realise that the forum is for the programme as a whole. But the particular episode set me thinking. Within MS, is there any other appropriate forum where I could have ventillated my views?

While the Review gives some idea about the Department, I am afraid it does not give enough information about the role of this Department and how it actually works.
