Update on the subject. Nokia service centre defined problem with the display and ask for Rs. 4000/- to replace the display. A small private mobile repairer could repair the phone by just replacing the cable between body and movable display. It is a shame for a company like Nokia.

Fully agree. I had similair experience. It seems this hand set has defective design. But all nokia care centre has been told to give same reason as an excuse for not rending the service . Janak Patel 9998011312
