agree with pkm1 i order stuff on flipkart and i have good experiences always. so karisma is a poor choice to buy then. I believe only second quality or substandard quality products are used in products marketted in India. Perhaps that explains why so much failure. reading through all the reviews in mouthshut all my options for washing machines i had in mind are ruled out. not sure what to buy now. I had samsung, whirlpool in mind. Both seems to be horrible customer service based on reviews.

Very useful review and an eye opener for everyone to not buy IFB products. My own uncles and aunt's have had IFB for many years with several problems described like the above. i really hope you get your problem fixed or atleast get a replacement washing machine. good luck.
