Hey!!!! same happened with me when I was on the highway for the first time... :) With only 3 months of driving experience I drove my 4 months old i10 all the way upto 300kms above 100km/h... touched even 150... was a thrilling moment... really!!! and what I got 9km/h :( So... pehli baar ya kab read more...
Good to know that you are driving from last 10 years... I'm driving from last 1 year... but still on highways you should maintain speeds below 80km to achieve good mileage.

I've driven at 140-150 kmph on Delhi-Jaipur/Agra highways and still the car is very stable and smooth. You don't feel any vibration, but a slight increase in engine noise which is acceptable at such high speeds. I've driven both Era & Sportz, Sportz is very silent, both inside cabin & outside. Nice, informative & beautiful review... every aspect very well explained... especially for new car buyers. My i10 SPORTZ has completed 1 year and 1 months and I'm very happy with the overall performance. I specially like the interiors and the gear box position of the car. There are lot of minor things that Magna does not have as mentioned by Arjun. Some of my friend's who bought magna now regret for not buying sportz. Magna does not have: - Tail lamp - Defogger - Rear-wiper - Spoiler - Head-rest for rear seats - 3 speed wipers. (magna has oly 2, very slow read more...

My i10 will be completing a year next month... drove 14,000 kms till now and 3rd servicing is due next month. I'm getting about 15kmpl with AC in city's tight traffic and above 18kmpl on highways, thats a good figure for 1.2L car. Just drove Delhi-Jaipur-JaipurCity-Delhi (~700 kms in 3 days)... n read more...

Depends upon your driving habits... I'm driving i10 for the last 8 months and getting good mileage. In city: 14-15 kmpl and highways: 18-19 kmpl ... both with AC on. Tips to get good mileage:- ``````````````````````````````````` 1. Drive your car at the speed of 50-60kmpl within city a read more...

@prashant All of us can see who is getting pissed off... lol Waiting period doesn't mean car is in more demand... but the supply is less and shows slow production capability of MS factories/units. Anyways... Congratulations for your ritz car.
Would buy ford-fiesta limited edition instead of this, which starts from 5.5 Lacs only... and fully loaded would cost only about 6.6 Lacs... you'll get a sedan, lots of boot space, alloys wheels and lots of accessories. --or-- one would buy the new i20

@dotnetbee... The review is not professional but I don't think it is fake, you can see the 'Cons' section. @joysec1... Hyundai claims 15-16 kmpl, thats right... But even I'm getting more than 16kmpl with 90% AC and about ~19kmpl on highways... as I've mentioned in my review few days back. So ther read more...

@itsmedeepak.... If i10 then you should go for Sportz model. Magna lacks some features as mentioned by @joysec1, plus there are some less features, like no Door Azar warning, just 2 speed options for wipers (Sportz has 3). @joysec1: Well I haven't observed it yet, depends upon the road conditions. Instead while going with my cousin on a long drive he told me that i10 has good suspension even better than his Honda-city and was quite impressed by this. @sitaram1975: Man you got the best deal.
@G-raptor nice to know about these 2 things. Thanks, Manoj
@prashantmailme... why r u getting so much pissed??? Be cool and calm down... I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings for your maruti car. Rather copying-pasting & GOOGLING stuff... write it on your own. Rajuak... I have some tips for you to gain mileage. 1. Drive your car at the speed of 50-60 kmpl within city and less than 70 kmpl in highways to get max mileage. you go up 80 you screw on mileage drastically. 2.
