I was also thinking of buying a Hitachi inverter AC which is the costliest in the market. But your experience suggests that in After Sales Service these multinational companies are as bad (if not more) as our Indian ones. So why to waste money on the so-called premium products. What do you say?

Update - Minutes after i posted this comment, i received a call from Infibeam and also a mail. They have convinced me that the product is brand new and will work with major carriers.
