It's good for your bike's engine to replace the oil earlier than written in your manual . Your Hero service center has done good job . I change engine oil every 2000kms .

Suspension is not poor , it's a bit firm . Yamaha has deliberately designed this as it is best for turn stability . You can set it to soft easily yourself ( necessary tool is given in the bike's toolbox itself ) . Honda shine is not so vib free at high revs and as stable in turns as this bike .

It is more than 90% mineral-oil , meaning oil made from petroleum crude . Same as petrol, diesel , kerosene , engine oil etc . So I am not surprised with your results .

How about the quality of parts ? Frame welding finish ? Paint ? Does the bike come with leg/crash guard , Saree guard etc as standard fitting ? Front mudguard keeps shoes clean on wet roads ? Any rust in monsoons ? Availability of spare parts ? Responsiveness of Honda service ? Durability ?

Rs 700 for routine service ??!! It takes Rs 170 for oil (herohonda 10w30) and little gear-oil on the chain and a wash & polish , another Rs 100 max . No other service required . Replace that mechanic, he's fleecing you .
