HBO is now available to the customers residing in Mumbai/Thane. And as per the alert that I received, information of Star movies will be provided shortly.
Though Star Movies and HBO are available on TATA-Sky platform, they are unavailable to subscribers in Mumbai and Thane. Rest of India can enjoy both the channels. I have had a talk with customer care on this, and I hope TATA-Sky updates the restriction information on its website.

You have certainly put across the other side of the reviews, while the others (including me) were going ga ga over the professional service of TATA Sky - you mentioned all that can go wrong. As for the cable with STB - you are still dependent on the cable wallah, and then too the signals are not read more...

The only thing that we own after paying something like Rs 4550/- is the STB worth Rs 2999/-. Rest of the amount is for installation and the recharge card. Dish antenna and its accessories remain the property of Tata-Sky, and are brought by the installation team. Your case is a typical case of mis read more...
