Riding it for 5.5 years. My observations: 1. Mileage : by riding @ 35 kmph, tyre pressure 1 point more than recommended, reliable petrol pump and using brakes wisely I get 48-52 kmpl riding solo. Believe it or not! 2. My wife does not find it a problem to put the scooter on the center stand, I taugh Read More...

It is an impossible figure. The best I have achived by putiing 2 points extra air pressure in the tires is 16.5 kmpl. 21 kmpl in Figo petrol is simply impossible. Are you sure the car you drove is Diesel or petrol? Or is it a case of wrong understanding of DTE figure?

100 km per hr seems very incredible for any scooter in India. I have never been able to touch even 60, forget about riding constantly at 70. I keep the tyre (MRF) pressure at 20 front and 38 rear. ride ate 40-50 km per hr. Getting 50-53 kmpl.

Dear Kover, It is almost 7 months since you wrote this informative review. Please share with us if the car gives rattling noise inside with tyre pressure of 32 in front and 35 in rear. Do you maintain this pressure level when you travel alone?

Look is subjective. When Maruti 800 came people used to compare it with a matchbox in the 1980s! Just think how popular eventually it became. Over time, we get used to the so called awful looks. If your heart is beating for Ritz, then do not judge it on looks, go for (if not purchased yet) its objec Read More...

I doubt how many Maruti or Hyundai petrol car owners are really getting the FE figures the companies quote in city driving with AC on. Look at the reviews of Hyundai i10 in this site site. It is an eye opener. I am getting 12.5-13.5 in city from Figo Titanium Petrol without AC and its is fine with m Read More...

Dear Nikhil, I guess only 500 km per month running does not justify the extra price of a diesel car and the incremental servvice costs. However, in your avg monthly running do calculate occassional rong distance travel like week end travels, travel to native place also, nou just in city driving. If Read More...
Hey Amalraj, be truthful, do not joke yar, no petrol hatchback in this segment gives 18Kmpl with ac 50:50, not even Suzuki Ritz or Hyundai i10! Are you sure your have purchased a Figo petrol EX? Pl. do not mislead people on this forum. I am a satisfied Figo Petrol Titanium. I am getting 13 kmpl with Read More...

Dear Aniket99, Thanks for your suggestion. It seems DTE is also calculating as per tyre pressure also. Must be intelligent ! But unfortunately, there is nothing to be happy or even stop worrying. Because if u calculate, FE would be more than 40 kmpl assuing the official figure of 15.5 kmpl if t Read More...

Dear Sir, It is suprising to know that one can move any car, in your case, a diesel Car like Swift, on 2nd gear, even 3rd gear from idle! 2nd gear may be, but 3rd gear?! I will be surprised if anybody else has this experience. In any case, it is not advisable, as the car will knock and stop which is Read More...

Read all the Reader's comment above. My views: 1. GC: Increasing tyre pressure may be an option. But 2 practical problems: Suppose you are going with 4 people in the city full of humps. you have increased the tyre pressure for 4 people. You drop 2-3 people in the way and have to travel another Read More...

Now a days i can see mud flaps with smaller lengths on Swift. They look as almost integrated to the bumpers. I suggest Ford get smaller size mud flaps designed and manufactured by its suppliers. And, yes, they should be made from virgin plastic and should be soft to take the impact. I have changed t Read More...
