U must be kidding to claim 14kmpl with AC on Pune roads (if at all the road exists). With the 1.3L engine & 1000+ weight, this is unbelievable. The top gear issue mentioned its milage less than 9, anything close to 11 should is realistic.

Hey Amit, Congrats on the best possible buy with 4+ budget. Its a goodcar, way (not miles with Getz and Swift in) ahead of competition. The review is influenced by the public image and media reports. In MS (at least),we expect a sincere efforts,accuracy and judegement. Looks are subjective, but still Petra has better looks than similar price band cars like Indigo,Esteem etc. It is miles ahead when it comes to sturdiness & safty. The read more...

Good review..but apart from dimensions doesn't compare other mentioned cars. The Palio still is better looking, better performing and much more safer car in similar budget. I agree taht in looks, performance,safty Ikon scores over Esteem. But come to the aspects most Indians care, FE,Resale & ASS, Esteem wins hand down. Good review, but not balanced. Sorry but it reminds me of the survey questions which almost force you to chose option suiting the source/originator.

Overall a good comparison ..but the verdict is going against the points discussed in detail. All over, you were praising Palio but picked-up Indica.. I own Palio 1.2 NV & colleague of mine is having Indica Petrol..Apple to apple ..the FE from day1 is in favour of Palio. The Indica FE at best read more...

I'm at loss of word, when u mentioned WagonR as match box & Santro as sexy. Realistically speaking its no better than an autorixa on 4 wheels. U seems to be obsessed with FE, but at the cost of safety (neutral on downhill). Drive safe & tk care

I own a Palio NV sports for last 4 months (avg 12.5 50% A.C.). I can not comment on the service,as visited dealer only for routine 1st service checkup. The car is wonderful & gives a feeling of having a car of segemnt above.
