I too have one. C794. 2gb ram and Dual Core. I bought this 6 yrs back when they were hot in the market. I think you can safely switch back to XP, you will need to install the drivers manually. Vista will be real slow on a machine with 512 RAM.

Dear Lama, Darjeeling is a hilly place with slopes. 10 is good mileage. It might increase after 3k kms. The ''pulling'', I think you are referring to the throttle here, will never increase. Now we have better cars. Better in terms of overall quality, refinement, list of features, and so on read more...
Swift may perform better on a bad road because of its stiff suspension. But for the rest, it do not even come closer to the Figo, Polo, or the i20. These are much much modern cars.
