I think your review is informative and a whole lot fun to read. Loved it.

Sorry, I think your review is misleading -- you have mentioned that if the color cartridge runs out, there is no option to print the color areas in black and white, even if you have a black and white cartridge intact. There are 2 ways to do it, (i) by choosing 'grayscale printing' under the main tab read more...

v3engens: Appreciate your rating and leaving a comment. The Corsa 1.4 accelerates faster than the naturally aspirated Octavia versions (2.0L), not the turbocharged RS version (1.8L). That is why I have mentioned in my comment to Gururajan, 'So that’d be the 2.0, not the 1.8'. I was clarifying a read more...

I like your style. Comfortable and laidback with a touch of humour.

Sorry this aint really a comment on the review. Was googling for mods for the international version of the x14ne engine, stumbled upon your review. Saw a striking similarity with the following url http://www.josephantony.com/Writings/opelcorsa.htm I have a 1.4 SAIL. Liked your review. You obvious read more...

I have a 1.5T Hitachi Logicool. Within 3 years, it failed twice in its primary function. Reliability seems to take a back seat at Hitachi. I just saw another reviewer who had quality problems with his Hitachi too.

Was glad to see a review on this car. Appreciate the effort. I have seen this car and sat inside one at an Opel showroom. Certainly felt a whole lot upmarket. Have no idea about performance since I did not test drive either.

Found it difficult to understand. A more lucid style should help, in my opinion.

Sweet review. But I thought I should point out something on the VTEC that you mentioned. The older Honda City had a VTEC version. The New City does NOT have a VTEC engined version. Instead, all 3 variants come with a programmed sequential ignition engine (called 'i-DSI') which employs dual spar read more...

Could use a little punctuation. It was a tad difficult to read through.
To answer your question, yes. But the all-torque-no-horsepower is only an exaggeration. As for most city drivers, I’d recommend the 1.6 because it does away with the need to “engage” the power band. As for performance freaks, I’d recommend mild porting – at some loss of read more...
Okay, some stuff going on here.. thought I'll chime in. There are a couple of differences between the 1.4 and 1.6 versions of the Corsa than just the 4PS. The Corsa 1.4 produces peak horsepower at 6600 RPM versus the 1.6 which peaks at a lower 5600 RPM. In theory it seems that the 1.6 is better, read more...

Loved your review. It kinda answered some of the things I generally investigate in a sporty car. I never tried test driving the GTX. I took the Palio off my purchase list after I found that the 1.2 had a tendency to oversteer. After reading your review, I am inclined to give the GTX a 3T. (T read more...
First, the 3 T's of car purchasing - test drive, test drive, test drive. Second, and traditionally speaking, the Corsa isnt for everybody. It seems to be covered with so much controversy(!!), now that I am beginning to see some involvement from users. To begin with, its' steering is chunky/ beefy read more...
Gururajan, thanks for your feedback. From a user's point of view, I can't imagine the numerous persectives possible on a single product. I appreciate that you disagree. You are right about the 8 valves versus the 12 I thought it had... I should have checked before I wrote that. The results of the s read more...

After reading your dealership experience, I sure am glad I am not in Surat, dealing with Empire Motors. I own a SAIL 1.4 myself, bought from a dealership in Chennai.
