Well, I have been to a dealer from whom we bought an LCD tv from, who is reccomending LG strongly. He said LG's got the best service network. I have my doubts now.

I picked up a Philips LCD TV 42', especially when the salesman was trying to push an LG 42' as value for money. The showroom had all the top brands on display - Sony, Samsung LED and LG.
