My brother is having Indica Xeta, I must say this car sucks, Engine gives knocking sound when you press accelerator , acceleration is also not good, when car is stand still its sound is also unbearable, one of the most un-reliable cars in India. oh no, don't say Tata. My brother is having a Tata Xeta, I must say one of the poorest cars I have ever drove. Its knocking sound, non-reliability (even with brand new car), non-stylish look, acceleration all makes it an average car. However only fuel consumption is ok type. Rest it sucks.

Dear, agsuresh is right , problem could be due to fuel pump or adultrated fuel itself, try using engine flush and fuel tank additive , it won't cost you much but if the problem persists , don't wait for much time and just strait away go to consumer court no need to talk to corporate office guys.
Just followed simple approach, Don't change gears too much, Avoid speeding above 60 km/hr, Do not accelerate it abruptly, maintain the correct tyre pressure , use engine flush and fuel tank additive regularly and last but not the least don't let anybody else other than you to drive your car
