You can use any water softener, one with salt input is measured as always good. The ECO CRYSTAL sold by IFB is junk where as the actual product sold by the vendor consists of 6 inch sediment filter in continuation with magnet. i have been using this for 2 years now and it does make some difference t read more...
Finally my plasma broke down just before completing its 5th year. Problem reported frequent vertical colored lines on the right half panel. Finally broke down completely after one month with red blinking light (single blink). Sent the product to service center for repair estimates at my own cost. Go read more...
Overall i am not going to buy any product from this brand ever untill and unless they come up with good reasons for their quality improvements.
