Friends, after searching for contact details of Samsung Head Office in New Delhi, I had sent them fax (7 Pages) on 30/07/2008 at 011 – 41608818. There is no response from them. They are least bothered about it. Later, on 01/08/2008, I had sent the same 7 pages of fax to Regional Office, Coimbatore at 0422 – 4204801. After sending the fax to C’tore office, I immediately spoke with Ajit Kumar (In-charge) with regard to his response about my A/c problem. He categorically denied that it is not possible to repair the unit and the water tray cannot be replaced as parts are not available. Moreover, he said the company is not bound to do anything since the product’s warranty period has expired. Seeking clarification about his statement, he again said that if the product’s warranty period has expired, the product can be repaired only if spare parts are available else nothing can be done.
So friends, BEWARE! If you are buying Samsung product, the product can be serviced or repaired till its warranty period and not beyond it.
