Hi, When you turn the screw 'fully' anti-clockwise, the screw should come outside and in your hand. :) Please verify this. I have never worked with CT100. Please understand that 'anticlockwise = richer' in 4stroke bikes is a 'general rule'. I dont know if there are any exceptions to this. read more...

When a company mentions power as 15.2bhp@8500rpm 1. it is for a stock bike. 2. It is the max power the engine or motor can provide under normal conditions. 3 the rpm is that rpm at which the max power/torque is delivered. 4 Max torque is always at a lower rpm. 5 At all other rpms the torque a read more...

In motoGP bikes, engine braking is considered to be a biggest drawback. These super bikes use slipper clutch mechanism. So when you pull one gear down, the engine does not transmit braking force[torque] to the tyres. Thus avoiding skidding and over-powering[rpm raise] In normal bikes if you ar read more...

M2Ms are not reliable. For long life of clutch plate, use the clutch extensively 'only' in the first gear. Leave the clutch completely in all the gears including 1st gear. The concept you are writing about is called engine braking. Its the best way to automatically slow down the bike. The braking is minimum in top gear. What do you mean by hot position? Since your engine turns off, I think the mixture is too lean. Before you touch the fuel screw. verify that the spark plugs are good. If the head of the plug [spark point/terminal] is white then the carb is tuned too lean and this will be a confirmation. Ju read more...

Nit99901 For 4 stroke carburetted bikes the key rule is that anticlockwise turns will make the mixture richer. Remember that jets are the main influencing parameter for making the mixture rich/lean. 3 turns from most tight position should be OK for any bike. more than 4 is a waste. Che read more...
