Yes and No both! Instant water heaters have a heating coil of 3500 kw where as storage type have 1500 kw. But then again bring in the factor, how much time the geyser was on. You have to keep the storage type of water heater on for a long period, whereas an instant water heater is on for only few mi read more...

There cannot be a tankless water heater, because you can not have continuous flow and expect the water to be heated. Either the flow has to be low or the wattage very high to give you the desired bathing hot temperature.

Thanks Monica I had gone through that review earlier,but it gives less information on practical considerations in choosing an instant WH versus Storage WH. Also practical information like accessories required to fit a Instant WH and the cost and quality associated with it.
