Get advice of a lawyer and send them back the legal notice saying it's their fault (and actually it's their fault to deliver the credit card without verifying the details). They will shut their mouth and stop harassing you.

You can approach consumer court regarding this and can also check out RBI site, they had some form where you can send them complaints regarding these kind of issues also recorded calls might not help but written documents / letter wil.. not sure about this though.. consult with local consumer cou Read More...

Ignore the letters and calls, let them send legal notice.. you reply them legally back.. you will get a statement with 0 as payable amount.. this will happen provided you are clear from your side with the proof and all.

I would advice.. disconnect the phone the moment they say, they are from SBI... who cares after that.. they will stop after sometime.. but don't try to explain each and every person, coz once you start explaining, they take you for granted.. so don't bother to do that, just disconnect the phone.
