Did you get the refund. I happen to renew my insurance with Tata AIG. Facing similar issues. They charged my CC but I am yet to get policy details ven aftr 4 days. I think I will cancel the policy.

No doubt Tata Indicom/ VSNL customer service is very poor. They are rude at times and one can never get apology from them. Also I think broadband connection is not available at all place and its quality is not uniform across places. For me Tata VSNL DSL connection is working fine since Jan.

Technical answer: DSL modem and driver installtion will take less the 1 hour. But I guess you are not looking for modem & driver installation time. I got it in 3 days after I submitted application.
