but I cannot agree with your comments on bollywood, this yr has been quite a revelation for bollywood, new themes, new stories. I watched this movie on Saturdya. Must say it was a visual treat. Very well made movie with the blue tinge and the hand held camera. Got an eurpoean movie feel to it. The direction is excellent. Very nice review...saw the movie today...u r right about the calcutta part as well, they can just shoot the river , victoria memorial today and claim it to be 1962....the music is sublime and the songs are shot very well.....

I bought a pirated copy of a roadside shop in Jadavpur. The print was decent and the movie was an absolute delight. In contrast the sequel made by Goutam ghosh was not that captivating. Incidentally, Abhik let us know if you find Pratidwandi. Meanwhile if you are based in Mumbai please let me read more...

Great review Mayank. Keep it up. I and almost all bengalis of my generation grew up as ardent fans of Feluda.
