On highways, my Santro has been giving 19 - 20 kmpl with A/C switched on intermittently, consistently, even before the first service. After the 3rd service, it has gone up to 21 kmpl. I am driving Santro XL since 13+ months. I have driven from Jamnagar to Mt. Abu (500+ kms) without facing any problems whatsoever. I have touched 140 kmph once but normally do not exceed 100 kmph. To get max fuel efficiency, keep your speed between 60 to 80 kmph. Wish you Happy & Safe driving
