I live in delhi and the ac is fixed in a 15x11x11 room and I believe it cools so fast that it results in short cycles. my ac is working fine but I did not get time to get it serviced. I have cleaned the filters of the indoor unit and using it fine. I believe Hitachi is one of the best in market hence if you are happy paying 10k more then I vote for hitachi.

I believe changing the cooling coils with new ones could be a good cost saving option. if the compressor and other parts are working fine then whats the need of scrapping the whole unit.
This is 3rd year of my carrier ac and it’s not cooling anymore. I was expecting it to run trouble free atleast for 5 years but I think I was expecting too much.

I find carrier ac a bit noisy as compared to other brands at my home but cooling is excellent.
Finally i bought a Carrier Durakool 1.5T and i am very happy with its performance.
Finally an engineer visited the site and replaced the unit. New unit is working fine.
My neighbor got a Voltas Vertis Plus 1.5T yesterday, swing blades vibrate and make a lot of noise, installation guy told them that another engineer will visit the site and rectify the problem....
