I am BIG critic and I intend to rate reviews purely on merit. HR - 1. Exceptional Reviews with personal experience 2. Some Good Reviews with personal experience if written with humour, good style, etc. R - 1. Good Reviews 2. Exceptional Reviews not doing justice to topic 3. Exceptional Reviews lacking personal experience 4. Exceptional 'List' Reviews (5/10 best) SR - 1. Not-so-great Reviews 2. Very short Reviews 3. Good Reviews lacking personal experience 4. Good Reviews not doing justice to topic 5. Good 'List' Reviews (5/10 best) NR - 1. Really bad reviews 2. Controversial Reviews 3. Copied Reviews 4. Not-so-great Reviews not doing justice to the topic 5. Not-so-great Reviews lacking personal experience 6. Not-so-great 'List' Reviews (5/10 best) Above is my rating criteria which will be followed irrespective of whether star writer, new comer, etc. I may not in all cases leave a comment explaining the rating as the criteria is very transparent. If you all notice, there is one member who have added me to her Distrust List. I don't understand whatever I did to this lady. She has been inactive all these days having written only a piece of trash. Now why has she added me to her Distrust List? I have send an M2M asking her to explain. Unless of course, it is the duplicate id of one of the members out here. If that is the case, I shall ignore her. There is another member who send me an M2M asking me to rate the member's reviews and let him/her know what I feel. Excellent spirit there ! When I am so transparent in my rating criteria and so consistent with my rating, I don't think there is a reasonto doubt my intentions, unless of course, people cant take criticism. Then M2M me and tell me what's wrong with my rating criteria. If you agree to my rating criteria, you cannot crib when it applies to your own reviews. . I am new to Mouthshut but I have spent the last days reading many reviews on the site. I find very few quality reviews on the site and I find that not much effort has gone into them. I fail to understand why writers concentrate on information available by running a search on the net and not on personal experience and insights.

I dont want to comment on what Geox had to say. But that was a pretty awful review and could not help myself rating it low. If you are a computer dummy, dont bother to write reviews on computers is my sincere advice.
