This is a film with a character that I can relate to very much. I have a sneaking suspicion that you would fall into the 'smug marrieds' category. I check out books from the libraby sometimes now. I can't always find the ones I want at some of my cheap spots. Some I just want to read, don't have to keep. Amy

This review really brought back memories for me. I have always had a love affair with books. I have a friend who has been diagnosed with this illness. She is in awful pain a great deal of the time. She has a hard time sleeping due to the pain which only makes it worse, because as you say rest is crucial. This review was terrific. Pets can really improve your health. There have even been studies that show that petting a cat or a dog can lower your blood pressure. I am not a big fan of Sprite now, but I certainly remember drinking it as a kid. My Mom was like you and gave it to us when we had a stomach ache. It always seemed to help. Great review. Amy
