Hi! I live in a place I am completely in love with. It offers me everything I could ask for - amazing sights, proximity to dream getaways, shopping malls and whenever-whatever food. I love to hang about this great city, shopping - I am an impulsive purchaser of apparel and accessories, the Scorpio that I am. Besides that I love reading books at one go, quite to the exasperation of my friends and family :D. And I love kids. I would like to work to help autistic kids in the near future. I guess, that sums up quite a bit of me. I am a passionate reader. I like books by Enid Blyton and Michael Crichton, Elizabeth Bennett and Darrell Rivers being my most favourite characters. I also love watching romantic movies and thrillers: 'Castaway', 'Rain Man', and 'You've Got Mail' are some I've watched quite a few times :) Classical instrumental music is my favourite music, esp of sitar, santoor and violin & cello symphonies of the early 1800s.

I am first! Very very nice review, Laxman. You make Pandharpur sound real nice. I am not much of an pilgrim and had an awful time during my tour of Nasik and thereabouts, but the next time I feel like 'Embracing the Lord', I think Pandharpur would be on the top of my list. :) Shweta

I too do not agree completely with Ayn Rand's 'Anthem'. Or, may be, as my friend tell me, I made the mistake or reading it before 'Fountainhead' which I am yet to read. Good review, though. :) Shweta

Hi Saakshi! Though what you've put here is not far from my first impression of the book, the story gave me quite a refreshing read the second time. Catherine's character is very different from the rest of Ms. Austen's creations and her innocence and simplicity are quite arresting. Good review, tho read more...
