I am commenting on my earlier review above: Th be fair the machine has worked fine without any further requirements for service which was attended to within a week. The service and durability aspects are good. The chips maker comment stands. I would buy the machine today if I had to!

A well written and balanced review. Having got a 1000D recently at 22500 in the same config as above I agree 100% with what has been said. A DSLR is for the photography buff. It is wasted on point and shoot tourist photography! There is lot of scope for creativity. The live view should have had a sh read more...
Thanks for the comments. I read all instruction books before starting. The chips are very small - hardly finger chips. I suppose they will pass as MacD french fries! Don't b biased against males.
