Not being the most athletic of people, and I use that term liberally, I enjoy creative, and passive activities like reading and writing going to the movies. Like to have fun, I don't know anyone who doesn't, very easy going and approachable, like to talk alot. Someone once suggested I should be a critic, so I tried my hand at it... And here I am!. I like to Roleplay, go to the movies (well duh), read, hang around with my friends, have fun and not be stressed. Also trying to become a writer (hopefully screenplay or stage)!

We’re given a darker instalment from Mexican director Alfonso Cuaron simply because the lights are turned down and a lot of it is set at night, nothing more. A disappointing movie that doesn’t utilise its stars (the adults), focuses to much on the substandard child actors, or broach any read more...
Other problems emanating from the script is that for what could be a psychological thriller, it has no thrills. The movie plods along as the films antagonists are either absent (Black) or aren’t scary (Dementors) and as such lacks any sort of tension whatsoever. We are meant to cower in pantom read more...
Point noted about detail, especially considering this is the longest review I ever written, this is mainly because I think there is a lot to address in THe Matrix, problems, strengths, themes whatever. Thanks for the feedback

Your review was not bad, but I thought it was a little light on the details, like what exactly did you hate about the dialogue? Was there too much or was it too complicated or was it just drivel? (I have a sneaking suspicion that it has to do with the neck work you did in the Imax) A little more det read more...

There is certainly a lot pf potential in this review, but it tends to be vague, and can be very unclear in parts, particularly Karma and the parenting issue. The child was the next step in the love the two programs shared, why was this so hard to grasp? That said I agree with you about the script, t read more...

You certainly seemed a little underwhelmed by the Matrix sequels, and I know the feeling. I agree with you that once you've seen the first two you owe it to yourself to finish the series as well as the general domination of FX (perhaps in the true battle for The Matrix technology actually did win... read more...
Overall, as a stand alone film it is weak, clichéd, too reliant on effects and an easy miss, only just an improvement on “Reloaded”. As the end of a trilogy, you’ve committed enough time for you to go and see it, if only for closure, just don’t expect a good film to boot read more...
As for production values, well they’re a mixed bag, ranging from a goofy looking face representing the source (think “The Mummy” ’s sand face but only a lot worse, or CGI humans they just never work), to the huge but lack lustre Zion war, to the good but used to much (the hu read more...
The good news is that some of the stars decide its time to get paid for acting once more. Keanu Reeves makes a welcome return to the world of emotions, and even when he’s blind, and acting relies on the eyes a lot, he does superb work, and I couldn’t speak highly enough of him. Just wanting to clarify something, did you like Orlando Bloom because he can act, or because he is pretty? That said, it's a pretty good review

Not sure but I don't think this was an actual remake of a Hudson/Day movie so much as a homage to that particular genre
