must be one of the very few java software available..i still haven't found a perfect Java PDF Reader for the phone..
well de phone runs on S40 3rd edition and none of the S40 phones support 3rd party applications/software(.sis files for eg.).. it supports only j2me JAVA Applications! you can get many apps at www.getjar.com .. And upto my knowledge there isn't a java based pdf reader or app like ms word..
well..u we buy de phone knowing its delicate ,so jus a lil effort to take good care of it will ensure a long life..

i forgot to mention...as soon as i got my connection i changed the password ! then after this 'discrepancy' occured,i changed it and now yesterday it was changed again... BUT THERE'S THE BANDWIDTH THEFT :-(
hey i don't use any torrents soft,my pc is switched off,my modem too...this usage fraud hasn't happened during my previous months usage..
XP,huh?! it works in xp even without a software...Check out this link.. (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/learnmore/infraredimp.mspx)... By the way my laptop runs WIN95! which has got built-in support for IR transfer...
You can either download them to your phone via WAP or send from pc-phone via Infrared.. U can also convert .wav files to mmf using the Yamaha MA-2 WAV-MMF Convertor(can be got from smaf-yamaha.com)! MMF Voice tones RoCk!!

hey,i got A500 too..i've also posted a review here..damn cool phone..I RECENTLY DISCOVERED THAT the a500 can have VOICE TONES & TONES OF (.MMF) format !!! it's the next best thing to mp3 !!! now dat's something u don't get in a basic colour phone..
