Very good and frank account of experience with Honda City. I have come across several other such reports of problems. If the market leader is so bad, our choices become very restricted. I only hope that Honda listens to such genuine negative feedback and improves quality.

But you have not touched upon an important aspect that is the difference in picture aspect ratios of lcd tvs and crt tvs. LCD tvs have aspect ratios of 16x9 whereas >95% programs/telecasts (that is except HD) are in 4x3. Ultra slim TV, I believe,is better than any LCD TV LCD TVs (as also LEDs?) have an aspect ratio of 16x9 whereas 95% or more telecasts are in 4x3 that is the ratio of CRT TVs. This means all LCD tvs show somewhat distorted images to fill the screen or they would have dark bands on the sides. It beats read more...
