Interesting review, but I found some things a little different: - The power windows, headlights etc failing problem is weird. I havent faced it for almost 1.5 years now! - Your acceleration problem as well as the above problem could be related to your cpu... have it checked out. I get a pretty read more...

- You seem to really be a salesman for the Santro. Yeah, right. You're a Zen salesman? - Do you gauge acceleration by the amount of pedal that you need to press? After a lot of everyday city traffic and expressway trips, I can say that Santro's zippiness beats all other cars in its class - esp Maruti Zen and Tata Indica! On the flip site, the gear shift could be smoother. Absolutely no maintenence headaches yet.
Performance and build quality of the car is the best among the small cars. Zero vibrations, minimal noise, and I got a mileage of 15kmpl on a recent 240Km trip with 5 people in the car and the a/c on all the time. Hey folks, Its been 2 months since I bought the Xing XG and the only complaint I have is that the dual horn occasionally sounds with a single frequency... but the chap at the service station that I called assured me that it is a setting problem, and if not, the horn will be replaced :D Vivek
