Man again you r getting it wrong..don't take my comments by word for word..I said 10-13 hrs...Now please don't tell me no one pracitces 10 hrs each day..They do practice that much man...Ustad Zakir Hussain used to get up at 3am in the morning to practice more than 10 hrs a day... I have learnt far more beyond that..About VNB..well I don't know much about this man and frankly I don't know whether VNB's theory claims that 'Scale resembles to thata' or not...I agree that there are flaws in VNB's theory..but you sho read more...

Hi Pushan...Actually I was talking about learning Ragas.And I am still firm that anyone can identify 25-30 Ragas within a year just by listening.Learning to play an instrument is another thing.To master any instrument (excluding keyboard) it takes atleast 7 years with 10-13 hrs of daily practice read more...
