Claim Settlement Ratio published by HDFC Life is as dubious as the rest of their dealings.Do not view a single quarter in isoolation. Get the true picture from IRDA for the last several quarters. I TOO HAVE HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE. BOOKED THE ORDER ON THE PHONE , GOT AN ORDER ID BY SMS BUT NO RESPONSE FROM THE LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDED AT VASHI. PHONED JAIKUMAR TWICE AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT ME BUT NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME.

I TOO HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH LETSBUY WHEN THEY SENT MY PRINTER WITHOUT A WARRANTY CARD.THE BILL TOO DID NOT HAVE THE SERIAL NUMBER OF THE PRINTER ON IT.
