Going by all the reviews for Club Mahindra 'resorts', it seems to be one big rip off! I hope you complained in writing to the hotel because you would have surely paid quite a hefty sum. I can understand your disappointment Florian. Especially in food, one has great expectations and as your correctly say, dont mind paying extra for better quality but if after paying the quality is so poor, then the disappointment is double!

Excellent review with a lot of detail. You are lucky that Kovalam and KKumari were not crowded, they can be awful in peak season. Also lucky with cheap rates for houseboat. Let me assure you that probably no one has ever seen a tiger at Periyar from the boat ride! Very few have sighted tigers there read more...

Your post is not a subjective review of the website but more of a grievance as to how you were banned.
I agree with your observations Miai. I also do check out Holiday IQ quite often but find the content not up to the mark, although there is quite a lot of content no doubt. The phone numbers of some of the hotels given there are often out of date. But overall it is not a bad site - just could do with read more...

Im surprised to hear this. We used to subscribe to IT for a number of years and did not have any problems with delivery in Bombay city. We discontinued eventually because it is not a particularly good current affairs magazine - Frontline is far superior, but that is another story.
