I have used Sify to renew sify internet services and sify domain. They do give order number that you can use to check the status of the order. Yes there is charge that the local bank charges for wire transfer.
the product name according to money2india is NetExpress, that i used in france. I used eTransfer as a generic name to transfer money online, didnt realies that eTransfer is another product name at Money2India for US guys. thanks for pointing it out, I have fixed the review.

i am sorry that you had a bad experience with ICICI, I have ICICI Salary acc, credit cards and loans. But I never had any problem that you have mentioned except for few times but not too worrysome.
